Saved Views let you customise the Device Grid, including which columns are shown, their order and width, your sort order, and any filters applied and save that setup under a name you choose, so you can jump straight back to it instead of rebuilding it every time you log in.
 

What Gets Saved

A Saved View remembers:

• Which saved view Device Manager should default to.
   
• Which columns are shown, and their order and width.
   
• Your sort order.
   
• Filter criteria applied to the grid.
   
• Whether Compact View is turned on.

Note: an ad-hoc text search typed into the search bar is not saved as part of a view. It clears on refresh or when you navigate away, so it won't overwrite your saved filters by accident.

 

Creating and Saving a View

Arrange the Device Grid the way you want it. Move and resize columns, set your sort order, apply any filters and then save it as a view. Once you've made a change, the Save control will change colour to show you have unsaved changes.

• Save Current: updates the view you're currently on with your latest changes (this overwrites the existing saved version of that view).
   
• Save as New: saves your current setup as a brand new view under its own name, leaving the view you started from untouched.

View names have a maximum character limit, so keep names short and descriptive.



 

Managing Your Views

From the view management options you can:

• Rename a view.
   
• Add or edit a description, so teammates know what a shared view is for.
   
• Delete a view you no longer need.
   
• Set a view as your default, so it's what you land on when you open the Device Grid.

If you have rows selected on the grid and switch to a different view (or a different tab), you'll get a warning first, since switching views resets the grid to that view's saved setup.

 

Compact View

Compact View is a density toggle for the grid, it reduces row height, padding, and font size so more devices and columns fit on screen at once without horizontal scrolling. This is particularly useful if you're used to the denser layout of the legacy OEM Server grid, or if you're working with a large number of columns. Compact View is saved as part of each view, so different views can use different densities.
 

Things to Know

• There's a maximum number of five saved views you can save per user. If you hit the limit, delete a view you no longer use to make room for a new one.
   
• Views are stored against your account, not just your browser. They'll still be there if you clear your browser's local storage, and changes made in one browser will show up when you log in from another.
   
• Saved Views apply to the Device Grid specifically; other grids in Device Manager aren't covered by this feature.
