Hawk - Update Bluetooth Module Firmware
How to update the Bluetooth module Firmware on the Hawk Bluetooth Card
Table of Contents
Required for using the Hawk with the Dot Tag and the Barra Radar
This article details how to update the Bluetooth module firmware on your Hawk Bluetooth Card.
Please note, that this is highly recommended for Bluetooth cards made before July 2024 (SNs less than 1059089) or if you are using the Barra Radar or DM Dots with the Hawk.
Updating this firmware will reduce the device's sleep current when using the Hawk Lite.
It is also required for much of the functionality introduced in Bluetooth Card FW v1.6 and later, including Generic Analog mapping and compatibility with the Barra Radar.
