Opening the Arrow Global BLE enclosure

Opening the Arrow Global BLE can be a little tricky. If you need to open the device, the following methods and tips will help you safely separate the two halves of the enclosure.

 

Box Cutter Method

1. Wear safety gloves to protect your hands when handling the blade.
    
2. Using a fixed-blade box cutter, locate a rear corner of the device. Starting at the back corner, carefully insert the blade along the back edge of the enclosure and gently twist to separate the two halves.
    
3. Once the enclosure begins to separate, remove the blade and use your hands to carefully pull the two halves apart.

Screwdriver Method

If you'd prefer to avoid using a sharp blade, a small flathead screwdriver is another option.

1. Using a small, thin flathead screwdriver, apply gentle downward pressure to the rubberised sleeve near the edge of the top cover.
    
2. Carefully work the screwdriver tip beneath the top cover using gentle downward pressure and gently twist to begin separating the enclosure.
    
3. Continue working along the edge, gradually separating the two plastic sections until the enclosure can be opened by hand.
    

Note: This method may leave minor cosmetic marks on the rubberised sleeve, but should not cause functional damage when performed carefully.

Tip: Whichever method you use, apply gentle, controlled pressure and avoid forcing the enclosure apart to minimise the risk of damage.
