Private Wi-Fi Lookups
Allow your Edge or Fusion device to scan in search of specific Wi-Fi beacons.

Private Scans (Adv) Parameters
You will need to enable the Private Scans tab under Advanced parameters.
The following options may be configured to facilitate an additional level of control over the Wi-Fi scanning parameters:

Private Scan Type: Wi-Fi scan type to be used on a private scan. Options are Type B or Type G/N.

Private Scan Channel: The channels to be scanned for in a private scan. 1-14 are valid.

Skip General Scan on Populated Private Scan: Yes or No. If Yes, skips the general scan when Wi-Fi beacons are found in the private scan.

Private Scan Duration (ms): The duration of the private scan. How long the device will scan for private beacons.
- General Scan Type: Type B, Types G/N, or Types B & G/N.
