Battery life is extremely important for Bluetooth tags like the Dots that are sealed and “deploy once”.

The battery voltage of the Dot Tags, Glows and Sensors is reported in the payload, and there is a low battery flag (1 or 0) that is reported in the device status bits and reflected in the mobile app.

The low battery flag is flipped below 2.7V. If the battery recovers above 2.7V, it is cleared.
